Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 20, 2026
CitePin, a product of Need A Name Media, is committed to making our website and application accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We want every visitor to be able to find what they need, regardless of how they access the web.
Conformance target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard widely referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508. We measure our progress against these guidelines on an ongoing basis.
What we've done
- A "skip to main content" link and clearly defined page landmarks (header, main, footer) for keyboard and screen-reader users.
- Visible keyboard focus indicators on every link, button, and form field.
- Text and interface colors checked for sufficient contrast against their backgrounds.
- Decorative icons hidden from assistive technology so screen readers aren't cluttered with noise.
- Accessible names and labels on all form fields, buttons, and interactive controls.
- Dialogs that announce themselves, trap focus while open, close with the Esc key, and return focus when dismissed.
- Respect for the "reduce motion" setting in your operating system, which minimizes animation and smooth scrolling.
- Semantic, responsive HTML that adapts to zoom, larger text, and small screens.
Ongoing effort
Accessibility is not a one-time project. As we add features, we test with keyboard navigation and screen readers and fix issues we find. Some third-party or embedded content may not yet fully conform, and we are working to address those areas.
